Hello,

According to me, doing a master's from NITs other than the CS branch will not be a good option but if you don't have any other option then you do from some top NITs and in parallel can prepare for next year. And if you are getting both the options of an MTech from premier colleges of India as well as an offer or an interview call from a PSU, you must have a really great rank. Then you need to see two aspects, first what IITs and which branch you will be getting and secondly what kind of work you want to do. Because through masters you can change your branch as well which can be your life-changing decision and to know more about this you can refer this link.

Now comes the most important part. You need to be clear about the location and the type of work you want to do. If you are looking for a technology-oriented job, go to PSUs like PGCIL, BARC, BHEL, ISRO, DRDO, and a few others that I may be lacking. These PSUs offer the best possible technical knowledge outside of the management function. Now if you are looking for a solid professional job with fast upgrades and pay increases and are willing to work hard go into IIT Kharagpur, Delhi, Bombay, Roorke, Madras, Kanpur, Guwahati and try to give your best there.

Both are equally good opportunities. Just see that which one aligns with your interest and you'll do great.
All the best!
